Past Fundraisers

  • Revie "Rev Dog" Moala

Our very first fundraiser ran for 20 days and wrapped up on December 23rd when we delivered the funds to the Moala family. Revie, their medically complex daughter, had completely changed their lives and brought both joy and immense challenges. With just 1,000 Instagram followers, the community rallied to raise over $60,000, every dollar going directly to the family. We even designed a special shirt in Revie’s honor, with Bullfit Nutrition helping share it with others—turning this campaign into more than financial support; it became a movement of love and unity.

  • Tanner "T-Rook" Scoresby

In just 4 days, the community came together in a massive way for Tanner Scoresby, raising over $400,000 in his honor. Tanner was only 18 years old when he was diagnosed with cancer, a young man who loved football, his friends, and his family. The effort sparked a global movement, going viral across all 50 states and 69 countries, and included youth football games, a CrossFit gym event, and numerous local businesses stepping in to help. Tanner’s story reminded us that community is not bound by distance, and even in loss, love continues to rally.

  • Phill McGuffin - Gym Fundraiser

The community rallied for Phill, a veteran, law enforcement officer, and devoted father, during a special gym fundraiser at XD Fit in Pleasant Grove, UT. The event ended with the ultimate surprise—a classic Corvette gifted to Phill in recognition of his resilience and the challenges he has overcome. This unforgettable moment showed the incredible power of a united community.

  • Owen Sanchez

Owen Sanchez was a joyful six-year-old with a big smile and an even bigger love for space. During his courageous battle with cancer, our community came together in an extraordinary way to support Owen and his family. Through this fundraiser, $47,000 was raised and given directly to the family, helping ease financial burdens during an incredibly difficult time. The community also united to make Owen’s dream come true by transforming a full one-acre yard into a space built for joy—complete with sod, trees, a trampoline, fencing, and full landscape work. Owen’s story reached far beyond our community. His love for space was shared with NASA astronauts and engineers, who sent him a special care package filled with NASA memorabilia.

In early January 2026, Owen sadly passed away after his courageous fight with cancer. While his time here was far too short, his impact will live on. Owen will always hold a special place in our mission, reminding us why we do this work—to serve others, to show up for families in need, and to prove what’s possible when a community comes together with love.

  • Saylor Burch

We had the privilege to support an incredible kid fighting cancer and living with autism, and raised $3,600 to help make her dream a reality. While the city of Pocatello stepped up in a big way to support the family financially, our focus was simple: give Saylor a place to feel free, to heal, and to be herself.

With the help of an incredible donation from Aqua Tech Pool & Spa, that dream became real, a swim spa where Saylor can swim, play, and find peace in the water. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with one goal: change a life.

  • Kindi Barrie

Kindi’s story is one that just hits you in the chest. A teenage girl who already beat cancer once… and then it came back. She lost her leg trying to stop it from spreading, and somehow it still made its way to her lungs.

She was one of the families in our “Hope for Christmas” campaign, where we showed up for seven families at the same time. And because people chose to care, to give, to be part of something bigger, we were able to hand her family $3,333.

Not to fix everything, but to remind them they’re not in this alone.

  • Jake Johnston

Jake Johnston’s story was one of those rollercoasters that didn’t feel real. He needed a critical heart surgery, but getting it covered was a battle from the start. Approved, then the trial ended. Denied by insurance. Running out of time.

A last minute new insurance option dropped the cost from over $200,000 down to $10,000, hitting their max out of pocket and covering his care for the entire year.

Through our “Hope for Christmas” campaign, people showed up in a big way. Together, we raised $11,000 for Jake and his family, making sure he could get the surgery he needed.
